Transability is a fictional transmedia project designed for educational and awareness purposes.  All characters and events are fictitious, though character thoughts, reflections, and behaviours have been inspired by the experiences of people who describe themselves as transabled or having BIID.  These experiences are a composite and all identifying details have been removed.  Some text and video interviews have been drawn from actual interviews and used with permission; names and details have been changed to protect privacy.
